Bible Lesson Plans & Free September Bulletins
Bible Lesson Plans
Are you having a hard time finding bible lesson plans that are all-inclusive, use the BIBLE as a textbook, and include a variety of activities?
Each of my bible lesson plans includes a printable packet for students with worksheets and activities along with a PowerPoint with answers and games to check answers and discuss student learning. These units are more than a BORING packet–think of notes, graphic organizers, discussion prompts, and vocabulary analysis all put together into a convenient booklet so students can easily keep track of everything they need for a unit. I like to print each unit with a different color so students can easily find the “green packet.”
These were developed to be appropriate for Catholic or Protestant students; specific theology isn’t explicitly stated, but there are areas where students are prompted to find out what their particular faith believes. There are some specifically Catholic pages that can be included or removed based on the faith of your students.
One of my favorite details is that the student packets were created so they could be completed independently–with only a bible as a textbook. If a student misses class (or zones out during instruction), s/he can catch up as homework without missing information. I like these bibles for students because of the lower reading level. If the reading level isn’t a concern, this Catholic bible has great extra information to supplement the packets.

September Catholic Kids Bulletin
Septiembre Boletín para Niños Católicos
September Bulletins include…
- Saint John Chrysostom: He spoke about bees because of their family structure and hard-working nature. These honey sticks would be a fun addition to a lesson about him!
- Saint Padre Pio: Here are two crafts ideas to make Monstrances (one, two). We see the Monstrance so rarely at our church, so I think it’s important to give kids a visual for this one. This Pray by Sticker book includes a monstrance and this style of book definitely keeps my kids busy!
- Saint Vincent de Paul
- Saint John Vianney: Try out this SKIT about Saint John Vianney
- Ordinary Time
Also–in the bulletins this month, your kids will earn that all the candles at Mass are made (at least partially) of BEESWAX. This might be a perfect time to buy a set of these!
These FREE Catholic Mass Bulletin Printables are offered each month in order to help young Catholics learn at Mass. For example, you are welcome to print and share with others. If you can afford it, click Support CKB on the left and then donate to help pay for the time and effort put into these pages. Thanks!
