Can your young students read basic faith sight words? I want my young students to learn to read God, Holy, and Jesus just as easily as they read and, the, or why. I have two resources to help build reading skills focusing on Religious sight word games: Tic Tac Toe and Mazes.

Sight Word Tic Tac Toe

This game will encourage your kiddos to learn some key Catholic words like Jesus, God, Holy, and Saint. There are four different game boards, along with flashcards and game pieces.

Book: This early reader book explains the Mass Order pictures from the weekly CKB. Each page has a picture and title directly from the bulletin along with simple sentences identifying the pictures and a short explanation for the image. The book is 15 full size pages for a class read aloud. You could also print the PDF with 2 or 4 pages per paper for small books for each student. The black and white pages are perfect for a coloring activity as the students analyze the images and connect to the Mass.

Catholic Mass Bulletins for the Whole Year!

The Catholic Kids Bulletin worksheets match up to the weekly Mass readings in the Catholic Church. There are coloring pages that match the weekly Gospel reading. There are activities throughout the month, along with Psalm copywork and a wordsearch. The liturgy of the Mass is outlined along the top of each bulletin so kids can follow along during Mass and learn the order and structure of the Mass. Each week, a Catholic Saint is also highlighted. These are terrific to be used at Mass, or as a pre-teaching activity to help prepare your students for the Sunday Mass.
