25 Easy Saint Costumes & All Saints Day
Do you need easy Saint costumes?
This year, I voluntold my daughter and her friends to host a trunk for Trunk-or-Treat. The event is very Halloween-themed, but since it’s at a Catholic Church, we’re going to focus on All Saints Day. The trunk will be Heaven, and we will be saints.
Before I asked them to dress up as saints, I searched Pinterest for “Easy Saint Costumes.” I was appalled at the lack of truly EASY ideas. Simple, sure…but easy? I needed ideas that a Junior High kid could throw together with household items 10 minutes before the event begins. I needed THAT easy.
So, I put together a list of truly easy costumes that all hint subtly at the saints, and I will ask the wonderful teens to wear a nametag to explain the vague costume. Hopefully, this will inspire some questions and conversations about the saints.
I told my daughter that I would have everyone wear huge signs to identify the saints, and I was shocked when she didn’t like that idea. I asked if “Hello, my name is” nametags would be better, and she agreed that they would be willing to wear nametags. So, of course, I created some nametags…in various sizes. I’m not sure that I can convince her that the 8.5×11 nametags are the right size, but maybe I can get them to wear the half-page sizes. You can buy them here if you want to bring the same joy to the teens in your life.
Here’s a SUPER EASY saint costume list for the last-minute All Saints Day parties in your life. Some of these are more morbid and absurd than others. Enjoy!
