Creative Catholic Saint Skits & Free Bulletins for June!
Saint Skits: A Fun Summer Activity
Do you need some fun activities to keep kids busy this summer? Check out Saint Skits! Saint Anthony of Padua’s feast day is coming up in June, so this is a perfect time for kids to learn about the Patron Saint of Lost Things.
When I was a kid, my friends and I spent hours creating plays. We would search the library for skits, create costumes, and then perform the play. They were usually pointless and boring; our parents we so kind to sit through them! Help yourself out this summer and give the kids some saint skits so they can learn about faith and give you some entertaining (and educational) viewing.
The Saint Skit downloads are ready to use: print and hand out to your kids. They can be used as a formal play–with students practicing and preparing to share with friends or family.
The Saint Anthony Saint Skit explains the life of Saint Anthony of Padua, including Saint Anthony’s gift as a public speaker and his life as a monk.
The saint story is four pages long and comes with a coloring page, a printable worksheet, and name tags for the students to hold while performing.
These plays can be used by bored kids this summer, or in a religion class, retreat, CCD, youth group, religious education, faith formation class, VBS, or any interactive classroom lesson. Here’s more information about the Catholic Saint Skits.
