Advent Activity #2: Advent Trivia

Advent Trivia is a fantastic way to get into the holiday spirit while learning about the traditions and history of this special season! Kids like to feel wise, so any trivia game can be fun. Here’s a set of Advent Trivia that you can use. I’m going to use them as a walk-the-room activity before we play any Advent games with the trivia. Here’s how I’ll use it first in my class.

  • Post Question cards around the room and corresponding Information cards nearby.
  • Give students a worksheet or notecard to write answers.
  • Divide students into pairs or small groups.
  • Students walk around, reading the Information cards to find clues and write answers.
  • Review answers as a class and discuss the Information cards to deepen understanding.

This Advent activity gets everyone moving, thinking, and celebrating together!
